Red Cross Babysitting Class
This class will prepare
girls to become proficient babysitters.
They will receive instructions on how to deal with young children, what
to do in case of an emergency and some first aid tips. Anyone who wants to earn money babysitting
should take this class. We have a
maximum number of 35, so it will be important to get your registration in soon.

Brownie/Junior Weekend - survivor

what it takes to survive the woods of Camp Iti Kana? This weekend designed just for Brownies and Juniors will teach you all about Outdoor Skills. You’ll learn about minimum impact camping,
simple first aid, fire building, outdoor cooking, basic knots, nature crafts,
and more! Whether you are new to the
woods or a camping pro this weekend has something for everyone!

Have you always enjoyed working with younger girls,
either at camp or in a troop setting? If
you are an Older Girl Scout (ages 12 – 17) then this is your time to start the
training that is needed to work with younger troops. If you have not had PA
training you will be required to stay the entire weekend.

Make your plans to take
your Girl Scouts to this one-of-a-kind weekend.
Included in this weekend package is a tour of three antebellum homes,
including a private tour of Elmscourt, past GSUSA
National President Grace McNeil’s home, a private lunch at Knights Tavern with
a special Girl Scout program, and admission to the Natchez Pageant. Troops are responsible for their own
transportation to Natchez. Once we
arrive, you will be escorted throughout the day to the homes on a motor coach
with a guide. We have blocked off hotel
rooms at the Days Inn for $66.00 a night (includes tax and breakfast). You will make your reservation through us.

The Spirit of Women at Forrest General and Girl Scouts of
Gulf Pines Council will co-sponsor this luncheon event for girls in grades 3
and up. Workshops led by professional
women in our area,
will include topics dealing with self image, bullying, and creating a healthy lifestyle. Look for more information on this exciting

This adventure is just
for older Junior Girl Scouts. Are you

become a trainer? This workshop will give
you the skills need to teach the Aerospace Badge to other Girl Scouts. Included in this event is a viewing of a
shuttle launch, one hour of living in space and building a rocket and
airplanes.

Day at Camp! This is a day for you and
your family to come “PREVIEW” what is offered at summer camp in 2008! Take a guided tour of camp and participate in
some camp site unit activities like making s’mores or
crafts and see where campers sleep. Your
tour guide will also take you to the lake for a cruise in a canoe and a visit
to the trading post. This is a great
time for you and the family to make a day together! Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy everything that
